How a curbing job goes

Walk the line, pour it once, leave the yard usable. New yards and old lawns use the same steps.

1. Send the yard

Address and photos of the edge. If you want color or stamp, include a photo of the house. Many residential runs can be quoted from that. If we need to see it, the site visit is free.

2. Mark the line

We walk with you, mark the radius, and note sprinklers, downspouts, and slope. If the sprinklers are not in yet, we pour first so the heads can be set to the curb.

3. Prep and pour

We cut a narrow path, mix on site, and pour a continuous run. Color goes in the mix. Stamp goes on while it is still plastic. We do not paint gray curb after the fact.

4. Drainage and clean-up

If a downspout or snowmelt path hits the new edge, we cut a slot or talk through a basin before we leave. Mulch goes back in the bed. Extra concrete leaves with us.

5. The first month

Stay off it for a day or two. Sprinklers can come back on after a couple of days. Do not drive over it. Colored curb can look blotchy until it finishes drying. That evens out.
